SWOT analysis template

A SWOT analysis deck that goes beyond four boxes of bullet points. It states the decision the analysis is for and where the evidence came from, gives strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats a slide each with room for proof, then crosses them into strategies, the TOWS step most SWOTs skip, and ends with owned, dated priorities.

How to use these templates

  1. Write the decision at the top before you brainstorm, for example "Should we open a second store in 2027?". It keeps the SWOT focused.
  2. Open the template and give the AI your notes, survey results or a short description of the business, and ask it to sort them into the four quadrants.
  3. Check each point: strengths and weaknesses must be internal and within your control, opportunities and threats external. Move anything in the wrong box.
  4. Fill the two strategy slides, choose three priorities with owners and dates, then download as PowerPoint or open it in Google Slides.

What is the difference between SWOT and TOWS?

SWOT lists the four factors. TOWS combines them into strategies: strengths with opportunities, strengths with threats, weaknesses with opportunities and weaknesses with threats. This template includes both.

Can I use it for a personal SWOT analysis?

Yes. Ask the AI to "make this a personal SWOT for my career", with your skills as strengths and the job market as opportunities and threats.

Can students use it for an MBA case study?

Yes. Paste the case facts, ask the AI to fill the quadrants, then check each point against the case before presenting.

Can I edit it in Google Slides?

Yes. Download as PowerPoint and open the file in Google Slides, Keynote or PowerPoint.
