School project presentation templates
Ready-made slides for presenting a project in class: a general school or college project deck, a science fair deck that follows the scientific method, and a book report. Each one has the sections teachers grade on, in the right order.
Templates
- School project presentation (presentation): Present any school or college project to your class and teacher: aim, research, method, findings, conclusion and sources in 9 slides.
- Science project (presentation): Walk through a science fair project step by step: question, hypothesis, materials, method, results and conclusion.
- Book report (presentation): Present a book to your class: author, setting, characters, plot, themes and your own review in 7 slides.
How to use these templates
- Pick the deck that matches your assignment: general project, science project or book report.
- Type your topic and class, for example "Class 8 project on water conservation in our city".
- Add your own research, results and photos. Ask the AI to "make the language simpler" or "add a slide about my survey results".
- Download as PowerPoint and practise presenting it out loud once with a timer.
Getting a good grade on a project presentation
- Check the rubric or assignment sheet first and make sure each graded point has its own slide.
- Keep text to a few short points per slide and say the rest out loud. Teachers grade your explanation, not how much you can fit on a slide.
- Use large text, at least 24 point, so the back of the classroom can read it.
- Show your own work: a photo of your model, a chart of your results or a quote from someone you interviewed.
- End with a sources slide listing books and websites you used. Many teachers take marks off without one.
Frequently asked questions
How many slides should a school project presentation have?
About one slide per minute of speaking. For a five minute presentation, aim for six to eight slides, including the title and sources.
What should be on the first slide?
The project title, your name or group members, class and the date. Some teachers also want the subject and their own name.
Can I use this for a college project?
Yes. The general project deck works for college presentations; ask the AI to add a literature review or methodology slide if your course expects one.
