Lesson presentation template for teachers

A six-slide lesson deck that follows the shape of a good class: what students will be able to do, the key ideas in plain words, a worked example, an activity for them to try, and a recap with homework. Give the AI your topic and grade and it fills the slides, ready to project or share with students.

How to use these templates

  1. Open the lesson presentation and tell the AI the subject, grade and topic, for example "Grade 7 science, photosynthesis, 40-minute class".
  2. Check the objectives slide. Each objective should start with a verb students can show, such as explain, compare or calculate.
  3. Ask for a worked example at the right level and an activity that fits your time, such as "a 10-minute pair activity with five questions".
  4. Download as PowerPoint to present, and share a PDF copy with students who were absent.

Slides that help students learn

Frequently asked questions

Can I use this for online classes?

Yes. Share your screen in Zoom, Google Meet or Teams, or post the PowerPoint to Google Classroom so students can review it later.

How many slides should a lesson have?

For a single class period, six to ten. More slides usually mean more talking; the activity and discussion are where most of the learning happens.

Does it follow a curriculum like CBSE, Common Core or the National Curriculum?

The structure suits any curriculum. Tell the AI your board and grade and paste the learning outcome or standard you are teaching, and it aims the content at it.

Can students use this template for a class presentation?

For student projects, the school project presentation template is a better fit, as it is built around presenting research and findings.
