Wedding invitation card format

Wedding card wording laid out the way Indian families print and share it: an invocation and blessing, the hosts inviting guests to the wedding of their son or daughter, the couple with their parents, the main muhurat with date and venue, a programme for haldi, mehendi, sangeet, baraat, the ceremony and reception, dress codes, compliments from relatives, the little ones' request and RSVP contacts. A matching invitation slideshow is there for WhatsApp.

How to use these templates

  1. Agree the details with both families first: the names as they should be printed, the hosts, every function with date, time and venue, and who to list for RSVP.
  2. Open the card and tell the AI your tradition and functions, for example "Punjabi wedding, roka done, mehendi and sangeet together on 11 December, anand karaj at the gurdwara at 10 am".
  3. Change the invocation, verse and wording to your tradition, or ask for the card in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil or another language, and check every spelling with the families.
  4. Download as PDF to send on WhatsApp and email, and give the same file to your printer as the text for the printed card.
