Split a PDF into single pages
Fixed size is already selected with one page per file, so every page of your PDF becomes its own PDF. Use it to separate a batch of scanned invoices or certificates, to share pages with different people, or to rename and file each page on its own.
How to use Split a PDF into single pages
- Choose the PDF. The tool shows how many files you will get, one for each page.
- Keep "Split every 1 page", or raise the number to split into groups, such as 2 for double-sided forms.
- Press Split PDF and download a ZIP. The files are named by page, such as report-page-1.pdf, so they stay in order.
Frequently asked questions
How do I open the ZIP file?
On Windows and Mac, double-click it. On an iPhone, tap it in the Files app. On Android, open it in Files by Google or your phone's file manager, which can extract it.
Can I split a scanned batch into separate documents?
Yes, if each document has the same number of pages: set the number to that page count. If the documents are different lengths, use Split by range instead and type each range, for example 1-2, 3-5, 6.
Do the single-page PDFs keep their quality?
Yes. Pages are copied, not re-rendered, so text stays selectable and images are unchanged.
I need images, not PDFs. What should I use?
Use PDF to JPG, which saves each page as a picture, ready for a slide, a chat app or a website.
Are my files uploaded?
Your file is processed in your browser and is never uploaded to our servers.
