Frequently asked questions
PNG or JPG: which should I choose?
PNG for pages that are mostly text, lines and charts, because it has no compression blur. JPG for photo-heavy pages, where it gives much smaller files.
Can I get only the pictures inside the PDF?
Yes. Switch to "Extract images" to save the embedded pictures at their original resolution instead of whole pages.
What resolution are the PNG images?
Normal quality renders pages at about 144 dots per inch, which looks sharp on screens. High quality renders at about 300 dots per inch, which suits printing or zooming into small text.
